Andres Rivadeneira
I'm a Creative Director, Design Director, and Creative Leader

I have 15 years of experience, developing from a Designer to a Director in a fast-paced, award-winning agency. My work focuses on transformation of people, brands, creative results, and building the systems that can make it both scalable and sustainable.

As Director, I led a 14-person team across design, motion, and video production, responsible for roughly 50,000+ creative assets a year across 150+ campaigns for 30+ active clients. Developed and directed creative work from paid campaigns to brand development, websites, events, and 360 marketing services. Worked across verticals, with industry focus primarily in travel, hospitality, and real estate, with additional experience across legal, medical, consumer, retail, and nonprofit.

I built a creative department's operating backbone, including creative processes, branding systems, design systems, briefing standards, project management standards, and modular scalability templates, while growing my department in a company that scaled from 8 to 80+ marketers. In addition, I lead AI integration, pushing forward transformative workflows that redefined our approach to the creative process, providing more time for research, ideation, refinement and efficiency.

I had the privilege to represent our creative department, the work we did and the culture that transformed an agency into a collective success story. My goal and objective is to construct environments where creative teams succeed.

Pan-regional creative leadership across Latin America, Central America, and North America. I led the creative side of one of the agency's largest accounts — the people, the process, and the templated production model behind it — growing Royal Caribbean's direct-to-consumer marketing from a single market into a system that supported 25+ international regions across email, paid media, social, print, and out-of-home.

Roar Media
Building a creative department from the ground up
Creative Department Lead — Growth & Development

Building the department.

Scaling a two-person design team into a 14-person creative department within a rapidly growing agency — establishing structure, culture, and creative standards along the way. Roar Media grew from seven people to 80+, and the creative department became its backbone across every client engagement.

Creative Work
A collective of the team — culture, growth, and the people behind the work.
Scope

Scale a team without losing quality.

Roar Media was a scrappy agency of seven with a two-person design team. As the roster grew, so did the need for a structured creative department — one that could scale output without sacrificing quality, and develop talent while serving an increasingly complex mix of brands.

Approach

Build people, not just output.

Built the department from the ground up — hiring, mentoring, and promoting designers from junior through art director. Established production workflows, quality control, and review structures, and ran monthly learning sessions to keep the team sharp and aligned.
